This Refund & Returns Policy (“Policy”) governs the terms under which refunds and returns are accepted for products purchased through our website or authorized channels.

1. Legal Framework

This Policy is governed by applicable consumer protection laws in India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. These laws require transparency in refund and return practices and protect consumers against unfair trade practices.


2. Scope

This Policy applies to all water purifiers and related accessories sold by AlkalineLife directly to consumers (B2C sales). It does not apply to products sold through third-party marketplaces unless expressly stated.


3. Eligibility for Refunds/Returns

A product will be eligible for a refund or replacement only under the following conditions:

  1. Manufacturing Defects: Products with confirmed defects attributable to manufacturing.
  2. Wrong Product Delivered: A product delivered that does not match the model ordered.
  3. Empty Box / Missing Product: Package delivered without the product inside.

Note: Refunds/Returns will not be provided for change of mind, accidental damage after delivery, misuse, or any reason other than those specified above.


4. Required Proof – Unboxing Video

To process any refund/return claim, the customer must provide a clear, continuous unboxing video that:

  • Shows the sealed package before opening,
  • Records the entire unboxing process, and
  • Clearly depicts the issue (defect, wrong item, empty box).

Claims without such an unboxing video will not be considered valid.


5. Time Limits for Claims

All refund or return requests, accompanied by the required unboxing video, must be submitted within 2 (two) days from the date of delivery of the product. Requests received after this period will not be accepted.


6. Process for Requesting a Refund/Return

To raise a refund/return request:

  1. Contact our Customer Support within the stipulated 2-day period.
  2. Provide order details and the unboxing video as specified.
  3. Our team will review the evidence and may request additional information if needed.
  4. Once approved, the product will be collected or guided for return as per instructions.

7. Refund Method & Timeline

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original mode of payment used at the time of purchase.

8. Replacement Option

Where feasible, AlkalineLife may offer a replacement of the product in lieu of a refund, depending on stock availability and business discretion.


9. Shipping & Handling Fees

Shipping charges paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable unless the return is a result of our error (e.g., wrong product delivered or empty box).


10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy shall restrict your statutory rights under Indian law. Consumers retain all rights provided under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to approach consumer dispute redressal forums in case of disputes.
